The Feast Day of Saint Fridolin. 7th century. He found the body of Saint Hilary of Poitiers, which had been lost when the Vandals destroyed the monastery in the city there. St Fridolin started a school for young boys on an island in the Rhine. He encouraged them to play many different sports.

Today is mild and sunny.
I have brought Spring bulbs out of the garden shed and the greenhouse so they can make some good progress in the sunshine.
I walked to the Co op to put some items of food in the Parish Church foodbank crate. Harsh times for more than we can realise. God is merciful and it is good especially during Lent, to think of how best we may help others.
