Busy day (and no photo to blip!)

So the day began with that extra hour in bed before riding into work for day two of a training course. That went well and Biscuit took me home swiftly. The traffic first thing in particular was dreadful and I was really grateful for the nice weather + motorcycle because we just breezed through it. A good quarter of the motorway stretch was spent filtering through!

Upon arriving home and having a cuppa I remembered that Dad needed our shared ladders at their house for a decorator to paint the outside walls. I walked them over with the girls where we found out the ladders weren't needed until May(!) and as I had jobs to do at home before then we walked them back...so that's a mile or so of getting our steps in with added bonus points for carrying ladders ;-D

Whilst they were handy I cleaned the back windows in the last of the fading daylight before making tea (vegan bangers n mash). After that I had a lovely zoom call with an autism group for parents which was very useful too.

Am currently waiting for the bathroom. Of course I get to use it last, am only back on 12 hours tomorrow so why would I want a shower at a reasonable time?!? (grrrrrr)

As no picture taken today, am cheating by using a pic eldest took towards the end of Sunday's walk. We are walking past moored boats approaching Hyde. It was dark when she took it...she has a Google Pixel phone with some fancy night mode that I do not understand but there you go...it almost looks like daylight.
