Florina- local celebrity

Florina is a  local celebrity in Dunblane this week. For she has a pull page spread in The Big Issue which she sells outside Marks and Spencer supermarket. (see extra).

I see Florina most weeks and the other day I took a photo of her and sent it into The Big Issue suggesting they might like to interview her.
 
So, they did. Florina is struggling to find a job, any job, so that she can create a better life for her 8-year-old son.

Shoppers often drop of all kinds of gifts for her from sandwiches to flowers.
One senior, a regular, stuffing a bar of chocolate into Florina’s pocket said: “It’s only a little bit I can do to help.”
