Bat Cave

Amit’s writing room is very hi-lo. he has huge back lit whiteboards, massive computer but also lots of homages to Batman, paintings of Heath Ledger as the joker and bat-symbols everywhere.  He’s a fan.  We had a good morning working on the series doc with Callum whilst a retired carpenter who has become a family friend continued refitting his house around him.

 When you’re Bradford adjacent you are much more aware of it being Ramadan.  Can’t get a taxi around the time of Iftar. Amit’s wife is Muslim so is fasting but left us loads of delicious food, and even large chopped fruit salad that came in as a mid morning snack. 

Set off for London at around 4pm and checked into the hub at Covent Garden for the night 

Met P and M at 76 Dean St and had a great evening together,  discussing the industry, M’s news and all our friends.  

Walked home through Soho and picked up a chocolate ice cream from one of the numerous gelaterias belatedly opening in London.
