Splashpad

This handsome little system is designed to dissipate the water pouring from the downspout, and feed the always-thirsty swamp sunflowers, featured before here. As it is raining, I thought I'd catch it in action. Took this at super high ISO, which made it grainy, and I couldn't get s super-fast shutter speed to show the water crisply. Photo challenge riddled with failures, if I say so myself. I was also holding an umbrella with my chin as the rain was pouring around me. Why did I take this picture, again???

Tomorrow is LM's first day in second grade. I am not sure who is more wigged out about it, him or me.
