Blunt

A bit of a lie in today as it was one-to-one day and I needed to prepare.

Mostly positive conversations, although a few in the team asked me about the recent changes and they're concerned about the way things are. I have to put a positive face on and say we just need to keep doing what we're doing, as we're doing some amazing work.

I did have one difficult meeting where I had to be pretty blunt with two of the team. Performance has been lacking and I needed them to self reflect on how they've done, particularly on this one piece of work with an immovable deadline next Tuesday. I never like those types of conversations but it was necessary.

Weather has been a bit iffy today and I've not been out for a walk.

Hoping for a quiet night.
