This is a lie

I saw this sign and was intrigued. That Morrisons might have grown and were selling trees that grow mixed fruits sounded like something that might have made the news, or Countryfile at the very least. Sadly, I was misled. What the sign should have said was mixed fruit trees; there was a selection of trees, each promising a particular flavour of apple. When the young guy looking after the stall saw me take the photo he came over for a chat, we agreed that a tree that delivered apples and oranges would be special, but we then got into the probable cost of developing it, and the restrictions imposed by the climate requirements of each fruit. 

I was so dizzy with the excitement of this that I put my car through the car wash; that's really got my weekend off to a flying start.
