Macro (Day 3588)
Back to the bathroom re-fit, this time with all the correct kit for cutting wet wall. I haven't really been looking forward to doing this wet wall because it is supposed to look like tiles. The panels also lock together which can often be a pain to deal with. Surprisingly it went really well, right up until I cut the last sheet. As I did the trial fit I was sure that I had managed to cut the panel wrong and spent ages checking it, and looking at the offcuts to check what I had done. Half an hour later I tried another dry fit and realised that it was fine and I hadn't cut the sheet wrong. It fitted perfectly. With the final sheet on the wall, I stopped for a late lunch.
After lunch I fitted the electric shower, and the shower screen, finishing with a really good clear up before I splurged some silicone sealant around the bath. I'll be glad when the current trend for pink and black bathrooms changes to something else.
It seems my beautiful wife has had a very busy day doing hoss pedicures.
