Blessing (?)

Back to London, today. Everything OK in that department.

As we were getting ready to call it a night, my mum gave me this, a medallion that my dad used to wear when we lived in Hong Kong.

I think that character means 'Blessing' but I need to confirm that. There's another symbol on the other side that I think means 'Happiness'.

Apart from my wedding ring, I'm not really a jewellery wearer, but I need to think of something to do with this.
