Souss-Massa
This is a remarkable nature reserve where endangered species are cared for with a view to returning them to the wild.
My main blip is the addax. It is a beautiful gazelle, it look out for its rather obvious toupee!
The first extra is a little owl who is not endangered but lives in the park.
There were lots of ostrich. One couple did a wonderful dance near to the car I was in. They both puffed up and the male did weird contortions. It was a dramatic display. Sadly, the female decided to say “Not today”. Both the male and the observers were disappointed!
We visited a pottery, the finished our day at the estuary at Agadir. The smell was most unpleasant and rubbish has accumulated all around.
There were waders, storks, herons and flamingos.
We said goodbye to our excellent guide Mohammed this evening. He is off to do private guiding in the Sahara from tomorrow.
We all fly late tomorrow so we do have some time to have a walk - if the rain holds off.
