Woe is me

I got home tonight to find this wee waxeye having a bite of the big apple. It has been wet all day, and it looks like he hasn't had enough protection. He seemed to be begging me for some shelter.

Taken through my window, it's not really grubby - it has sunfilter affixed to it because of the intensity of the sun in summer. Obviously it's not summer now!
