Licheny

A walk at the Blawhorn Moss nature reserve today to visit the bog. Lovely. The walkway in the extra lets you walk across it without disturbing the peace of the boggyness. The licheny tree was not on the moss, but on the walk through the woods on the way there. I do like these old tatty trees that are teeming with fungal life like this.
The other extra of the wider view of the moss with no path is one that a little sign asks you to take by placing your phone in a fixed holder and then emailing it to the University of Southhampton so they can monitor the change in the moss over the seasons and the years. So I did that too.
