It has been a good day for seeing wildlife without going anywhere.  When we opened the curtains there were four deer grazing in the field and two pheasants nearby.  Shortly afterwards dozens of geese flew over and a cheeky squirrel tried to rob the nuts while various birds came to the feeders.  Later the warm sunshine brought a peacock butterfly into the garden,  ladybirds appeared and a couple of bees visited several times.
