Down To The Water Line . . .Mark Knopfler

Last night we had friends to stay and I made the kumera salad and it was a great success.  This morning we took them into Nelson for a quick look around.  Kathy has never been here before and Martin not since 1968.  It was a perfect sunny and calm morning as you can see.  Martin is a keen, almost obsessive you could say, bird photographer.  He has a 200 - 800 lens which is too heavy for me.  They are going over the hill to explore Golden Bay and will do the tour to Farewell Spit which I haven't done, yet.
