Mono Monday . . . Left Behind

I was a little stumped by this challenge and then I saw the tide receeding and of course the anchored yachts are left behind.  Phew.  Thank you Lesley for this challenge. 
March is being a social month for us.  Today my friend from teachers college and her husband came to lunch.  I was her bridesmaid.  We "see" each other on Facebook and maybe catch up ever other decade.  They had come to the South Island for a family wedding so had driven down one side and up the other.  It was good sitting on the deck and catching up.  They retired to Coromandel Township which we used to visit when we lived up north.
