Sunday 9th March 2025... TC Alfred...

Oh my what a night we had with TC Alfred... The winds were rated as a Category 1 cyclone and much worse than the night before but from the other direction,  also more rain fell that the day before and many more homes and businesses lost power and so many more trees done...
The wind isn't as bad today and it's basically rained all day...
We still have power but our local sub power station is currently being sandbagged because at the next high tide about 5:20am it could flood and take out many complete neighbourhoods... Fingers crossed they can get it under control..
More rain predicted tomorrow...
