Monday 10th March 2025...

Finally there's no rotating structure to the clouds... There's still lots of rain about and it's moving from North to South... Flooding is happening... Many houses and businesses are still without power... All schools reopen tomorrow... Our public transport is partly operating where it can and on reduced timetables... There is a big clean-up underway despite the continuing rain... The tree debris is going to take a while to get taken away... Our Council has even asked those with Ute's to help remove the green waste and they've made it free to dump in the Refuse Station...
This morning we went out for coffee to support a local business, no use going to the shops because there's been no deliveries...
It's been a cleaning afternoon in my bedroom...
Cleaned the inside of all the windows, wiped the fly screen over, cleaned all the tracks... Moved both bedside cupboards out and cleaned walls and vacuumed before putting them all back, also emptied all the draws out and sorted them out and through junk away... Even dusted off the ceiling fan... Plus cleaned the mirrored sliding doors on my wardrobe... Don't want mould to grow because there's so much moisture about and we haven't been able to have Windows open... We need some sunny days with a gentle breeze to opened all the house up and give it a good airing out...
Think I deserved that beer...
