Bracklinn Falls

Having heard someone talking about it on the radio yesterday, we headed up just past Callander to walk the Bracklinn Falls Circuit. It’s a lovely 5.3 km route through varied woodland to the Bracklinn Bridge crossing over the Keltie Water then back along forest tracks on the other side. Lots of fast flowing water in the river but also many pools filled with frogspawn.

It’s my birthday today so we are heading into town for an early dinner with our daughters at a Vietnamese restaurant then on to the Merchant’s House for the monthly jazz performance at 7.30pm, tonight’s show is by the Matthew Kilner Quartet.
