Spring

We don’t have many flowers in our garden so it was particularly lovely to come across this crocus brightening up the driveway.
Not surprisingly I’ve had a quiet mostly sitting day.
Sadly I’ve reflected on yesterday and decided to withdraw from London marathon. It’s a shame but I was supposed to be guiding so it wouldn’t be fair to turn up not fit enough. Luckily Hazel already has several offers to replace me so she will get her run.
I need to take some time out to get properly recovered, get back to regular exercise and then prepare for Beachy Head marathon in the autumn.
