The Next PM

The plan today was to show another misty / rainy day (extra photo), but the afternoon provided a welcome, momentous event.  Our UK friends will remember Mark Carney as former governer of Bank of England.  Today he was elected head of the Liberal Party of Canada and will be taking over within days as Prime Minister of Canada.  He received 85.9% of the votes on the first ballot.  The consensus is that we (Canadians) feel he is the best one to deal with the US president.
