A sickly day

I have had a bout of indigestion and upset stomach today. I believe the culprit was some out of date chutney that I had with a cheese sandwich yesterday, as I was the only one who had it. There wasn't a lot left in the jar so I washed it out and added it to our cone composter. Despite my fragile guts,  I was still pressed into service to drive my daughter to Staines station (no trains were running from Woking due to engineering works) as she was meeting a friend in London. I stopped off at a supermarket on the way back to get this packet of Rennies (other antacid tablets are available) which helped calm things down. That, and a frugal diet for the day, meant I was in a reasonably fit state to pick her up from Guildford station in the evening. Hopefully it will have passed tomorrow after a good night's sleep.
