Back at the races

I blipped Addie about 4 months ago being fed with her mother at the farm. She had a few starts over two years ago and she was retired - I was also retired after 40 years active involvement in the racing game.
Well, I changed my mind!! After 3 months training, she ran in her compulsory barrier trial after the last race at Cowra - it’s compulsory for her because after such a long break she needed to convince the stewards she remembered being a racehorse (and she passed easily).
Here she is going out with Ashleigh on board and Peter (her trainer) on the left in his usual hat.
Great to be back at the races and to see the family colours again even if it wasn’t a serious race - that will happen in a few weeks!
