Crail Pottery
There is so much to enjoy about this image. Those bricks are exquisite, and the green grass and moss show how spring is warming up nicely. The terracotta pots and weathered wood add to the rich colour and texture. I could have sat there all day.
However, we had important stuff to do....... not. Strolling from village to village, picking up kindling, a coffee, cream soda for cocktails. Then, back again to the garden where we said goodbye to one pal as three of us slunk into the now familiar garden chairs for our whisky cocktails and some delicious Gyros and Tzatziki crisps ( I know, but don't knock them, they are seriously good).
Later, as the sun set, we ate fish and chips whilst watching the final of The Great Pottery Throw down. How fitting.
A heartwarming weekend, setting friends straight on their perch and ready to face more of life's woes. Thankfully, we don't all deal with hardships af the same time.... and thankfully, we can still find plenty to laugh at.
