The pre Ashes, Ashes tour started today. Lindy Lou and I visited Victoria Park, Lovers Lane, and here, spreading the joy of being together and in familiar places. Not a bad place to settle.

The sun was welcome. I'm well on the way to sowing seeds and growing baby plants. The new compost is fabulous.

The girl had some frustrating news today. She took herself off on a drive and spent the day outside. It's the best medicine.

Roofing felt bought and delivered to allotment for tomorrow. That should be interesting.
