A walk along the river

A fairly warm day and I started it with a session of the bikes at the gym.  After an early lunch we decided to make the most of the sunny weather and went for a walk along the river to Otterton.  There are certainly signs of spring around now with the Willow coming into leaf and this pretty shrub in flower.

We stopped there for tea and cake in Otterton and then returned home walking back on the other side of the river.  We spotted several Shelduck, Teal, Mallards and three Herons lined up in a row by the edge of some water.  An enjoyable walk.
