The Photography Show

I was up early to get sorted at home before setting off for the Photography Show at the Excel Centre in London. This is in east London so it involved a train to London, a long tube journey on the Jubilee line before a further two stops on the DLR.

The show was well worth going to with various famous photographers presenting talks and all the photographic camera and equipment brands represented there. The first talk I went to was the highlight of the day, it was by Rachel Bigsby whose wildlife photography is quite beautiful, more artistic than the usual wildlife photography one sees. There were a few stands with models posing and I was able to get some shots - there were quite a few people at these stands but it was not over crowded and you had to wait a bit to get a suitable position for the shot, which was not always the perfect position.

At lunchtime I met up with eight other members from my photography club, and then after lunch we all went our separate ways again. I heard another good talk by Scott Kelby on using AI in Adobe software in an honest way. He is very famous and I have a few books written by him.

Just before I left to go home I met up with another friend for a chat, nice to see you again Francis!

Now a bit of a rush to get to camera club tonight.
