Shining through

I’ve been so busy trying to keep up with all the sorting and clearing out of the house that I’ve not had much time to make cards lately, but this was a special order for a friend. It’s always so hard to capture the shiny gold foiling, I have to move sideways until it’s visible, which means the angle isn’t great, but it was the best I could do.

It was a lot colder today, and there was a lot of cloud cover, so the solar panels on our roof which help heat our hot water weren’t working as hard as they have been for the past few days, when they were doing sterling work in the glorious sunshine.
