I was making my coffee as the sun appeared over the mountains about 7. It looked like a lovely day coming on. P had contacted me yesterday to arrange a plein air get together for this morning so I had to get myself organized and out the door to meet at 9:30.

We were meeting at my mesquite tree beside the County Road. It was already 16 C as I was driving over. 

It was just 'we three' this morning. It was an opportunity for us to visit and catch up before we must disband. It's been a rather busy winter season and we've not had many times for this. 

We sat in the shade of the gnarly mesquite that I so love. P worked on her pastel, I had my sketchbook and L came to visit.  A hummingbird flitted around the trees and a roadrunner appeared on the hunt. I missed photos as I'd left my camera in the car. My bad! 

I was home for lunch and will head out again for a visit with a lovely lady I know from quilting at the church. I've made her a "Diva" pillowcase. 

I will back at the packing and tidy up....
