Clivia watch

The first flower is properly open on my new Clivia.  :-)

A morning of laundry and work, but escaped to the allotment for an hour in the afternoon with Judy.  My back let me know that I had done enough digging over the weekend, so today was spent decapitating the old lavender bushes in preparation for clearing.  Then I made a start on the picking border, which was in need of some serious weeding, but it can be done sitting down.  The extra shows the starting point and the first daff in flower - given to Judy to take home.

In other news from Bristol, the grandson now recognises a banana in the shop and shouts until you give him some!
