Just Joey . . .

……………………….. outside my neighbour’s home this evening.

In a sense it’s just a photo of Just Joey, instead of the photo of a Riwakawaka, or fantail, that I was excited about this morning.

The fantail was flying around and around a ribbonwood tree this morning, for a long time and I tried to get a photo of it with my camera. Unfortunately it didn’t work; too far away and through the window as well. Such a shame! It was a great opportunity. I’ve never had a fantail around here like that before. It’s in Extras if you’d like to see the only half decent one!
