May Warkworth Castle be with you...

After the truly stupendous and indoor inducing rain of and car journeying of yesterday, today was a complete polar opposite in our Northumberland adventures. Today we were lead out to Warkworth where English Heritage were putting on a medieval themed day with Long bow demonstrations, squire training and court dancing, all housed in the rather impressive Warkworth Castle.

It was a great wee jaunt out where Bethany and I got called up into some long convoluted dancing and we just kind of sat and watched the various medieval proceedings.

The kids accidentally hit this pose but I had to just slightly badger them to hold it for a few seconds extra to try and get the famous film poster if anyone wants to hazard a guess at my thinking.
