Messing up mummy's hard work!

I spent all morning scrubbing my downstairs so that it sparkled (I did nearly blip a photo of my front room as proof it can be tidy occasionally!) as I had a potential parent coming round. She came, and I don't know if they will be starting or not yet, but its looking promising as I'm the only childminder who actually replied to her email!

You can't tell I spent all that time doing it now! I'm a messy cook so the kitchen is a mess! And Charlotte took all of 5 minutes to mess up the front room with her dolls and about the same length of time to get paper everywhere in the dining room when she started cutting!

I'm not moaning, honest! I'd rather her have fun and have the mess than her be bored! She won't remember the state of the house but she will remember if she isn't allowed to play! She will be going to bed in about 15 minutes and I can redo the tidying then!

Tomorrow we are going blackberry picking and will attempt to make blackberry and apple pie and blackberry jam! I shall blip something about that but not sure what! I've not made pies for years and had never made jam before so could be interesting!
