Village daffodils

More of the same really, the daffodils are looking great everywhere at the moment despite the weather turning distinctly chilly.

Pilates this morning and it was lovely and warm. Which was good as despite the unexpected brightness of the morning it was pretty cold walking up the village.

After, we walked to the garden centre at Woodbank for coffee and lunch. The changes in the Potting Shed cafe don’t seem entirely positive, which is a shame as it was on the up, so we struggled to choose something from the menu. No changes on the specials board since we were there two weeks ago and no ‘ordinary’ sandwiches. We might have to rethink our Tuesday lunches, again!

On our way back I walked a bit further along the road to get a picture of the village daffodils. A must every year. They grow around the blossom trees on both sides of the road. This is the road entering the village from Bingley, our nearest town but they are also similarly planted  along the road out of the village towards neighbouring of Wilsden.

Always a special time of year that we need to make the most of and for me worth blipping every year.
