14 years ago I built a model of a unique Thorneycroft bus that was used by Macbraynes on the Isle of Skye.  It had been a mail bus on the island and the company converted it into a mobile booking office.  I like building 'odd-ball' models and this one fitted the bill perfectly.  It's a bit of a niche market and the model was put on the shelf and forgotten about.  Last night I was going through Faecbook and spotted my name and a reference from a modeller in Southampton who remembered  my model and asked for more details.  How could I refuse.
