SALT

Got a few chores out of the way, including doing a load of washing, and then got a bus to Aldi.  I bought 2 packs of red grapes there on Saturday but they were horrible - soft and mushy and inedible.  So I took them back for a refund.

Next I got a bus to the Metrocentre.  Got a few things in Primark and Poundland.  Then a bus home.

Had salmon salad for my evening meal - very tasty.  ( I eat a lot of salmon )

Before settling down to watch TV I went online to renew my season ticket for Newcastle United.  The price hasn't gone up by much .. last year it was £735 and this year its £772.. 

The Tiny Tuesday theme is mineral so Ive blipped some Himalayan Pink salt.  Surprisingly it doesn't look very pink close up. Thanks to jensphotos for hosting.

Salt is a mineral made of sodium chloride and is also known as halite or rock salt. Himalayan pink salt is a type of rock salt mined from the Punjab region of Pakistan. It contains trace minerals that give it its pinkish hue.
