Easter early...
Popped round to the health centre to let the nurse check my wound. There's a tiny bit at the end that's a bit leaky. She put an iodine dressing on it and asked me to make an appointment at the wound clinic tomorrow. Getting seen at 11am. Very efficient.
Lunch at the River House in Stirling with Keith and Mairi was lovely. Although D sees Keith weekly as his main golf buddy, I hadn't seen them since our lunch on Christmas Eve, so it was lovely to catch up. I'm not sure how I presented pre-op but the toll the fibroid was having on my physical appearance was clearly worse than I realised, because they were both astonished by how well I look, to the point of being slightly open mouthed. It made me laugh. They commented many times during lunch on how well I looked and Mairi even said it was lovely to see me with my sparkle back. That's nice to hear.
It was a leisurely lunch that lasted till just after 4.30pm.
Back home and feet up. Had a little snooze before crocheting some more of Jennifer's blanket. No dinner required as still full from lunch, but had a bowl of granola just after 9pm.
The easter displays at the restaurant were impressive, so one of them is my blip.
