Edge of the Sea to the Distant Horizon

We had our usual busy day. After breakfast, we headed to the dentist for our semi-annual check up and cleaning. I need my partial reshaped but the dental assistant who does that was busy. Will have to go back on Tuesday. My gastro doctor called to say I must have another colonoscopy in four years. Drat! Guess one of the two polyps he removed was precancerous. Can’t wait. We got salads for lunch and went to a nearby state park to get my blip. There were so many nice shots. It was hard to choose one. I like how this photo shows how clear the water is (has not always been that way) and you can see clearly to the horizon. We have so many forests, our sky is not visible near the horizon in most places. Sure hope we can take routine walks at the local parks more often. It is peaceful and scenic. We picked up Brooklyn and took her home. We are having a food pantry drive at church this weekend; we shopped for that. I bought a bit of Easter candy for others. We put everything away, I started writing my journal planning to take a nap next. Chase came to visit. He left at 9:30 pm. We had a lovely chat about Greece and Greek mythology and several other historical topics. That boy has always been a walking encyclopedia but he knows so much more now. My head was spinning. He reads constantly and absorbs it all. He wants to be a historian; a perfect career for him. We heated a few leftovers and now I hope to read/fall asleep soon. Wishing you a conversation that’s as entertaining as it is educational. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit. “Smell the sea, and feel the sky, let your soul and spirits fly.” - Van Morrison
