Sunset without Swans

After the frustrations of the previous day I decided I’d put in a shift up at the lookout aka wendy-house so I could feel that I was actually making some progress. And progress I did make. Well, till 4pm, when I was whistled off to see On Falling. A film set in Edinburgh! A strange title, but then again the Director, Laura Carreira, is Portuguese (and based here). A terrific little gem of a film - I see a certain K.Loach is one of the producers, but it had none of the heavy handed approach to ramming a point home which mars much of his work. Right? Almost realism, actually.
