Flowering red currant

AKA Ribes Ribes. This is on the corner of the street where I live and Nile Grove, and I always check for it starting to flower - for me it's one of the signs that spring is arriving. 

I blipped this after my literature class which was on Zoom today. We were a small group, just three plus our tutor, but I have to say that that suited me fine, I prefer small groups, particularly on Zoom. We were discussing The House of Doors by Tan Twan Eng who also wrote The Garden of Evening Mists which won a number of prizes. I certainly enjoyed it and it seemed to go down well with the others.
