Living dangerously - well not actually, he's good at sticking his claws into the cushions on the cat tree to hold on.

I had a bit of a frustrating day, trying to get down to quilting the baby quilt I've got on the go. I had to spend some time finding a fabric marker that would come out after I'd done the sewing and that took a while - but was well worth doing as I could have ended up with some permanent white lines otherwise. And then the quilting itself, i.e. sewing through all layers of the quilt to hold them together, didn't go very well as I don't seem to be able to sew in a straight line. I tried various ways of positioning the needle in relation to the foot of the machine, but none of them resulted in a reliable straight line. I might try drawing a line in to sew along, which might not be that easy - that would be the only thing I haven't tried. If that doesn't work, there isn't much hope for me!
