Embarrassed and then relieved

John’s brother has been over 3 times in the last month to try and fix the extractor fan in the bathroom. Without success, until I looked at this switch this morning. Turns out it wasn’t broken, just switched off… oops!

Then at the hospital this afternoon for a post op follow up. They are confident they have removed all of the tumour, and the lymph nodes are clear. The plan is some radiotherapy in a few weeks and hormone therapy and regular mammograms over the next 5 years. I am obviously very relieved by this news.
