End of the line.

As far to the north-west as the city lines go. The rails do continue, as far north as Whangarei. Not used very much and not at all for passengers. A small amount of freight was being carried, but that may well have stopped also.

This is the Swanson Station with two trains parked at the station. I had arrived on the train to the left; a three carriage train. Parked on that side meant I had to cross over the tracks, and it was from ip high on the overbridge that I took the photo.

I was meeting S at C's and we then drove home, stopping on the way to buy take away pizza.
