Closing in

It has rained steadily all day which is good news for the farmers. Although the water table has not being replenished yet, the farmers are saying that they are no longer having to resort to irrigation. Apparently, it is just the right kind of rain, steady drizzle that penetrates the ground. It has given me time to get on get on with some jobs, booking travel and accommodation for our next visit to the UK and making bread. I also took our friends down to the main valley to catch the bus to Perpignan where they can get an onward coach to Barcelona for their flight.
