Round Church

I went to Cambridge today to meet with some Open University colleagues for coffee in John Lewis and then later for lunch. While they visited the Scott Polar Museum, which I have visited several times, I went shopping. We all had lunch in Wetherspoons, before returning home during the late afternoon.

My neighbour sent me a text to say he had telephoned the council and they would come out today as the lorry had broken down yesterday. On my return home the rubbish was exactly where I had left it. I again rang the council who did not know why the rubbish had not been collected; again, they said they would collect it in two weeks. She said she would send an email to relevant department. To add insult to injury our council tax bill arrived today with a massive increase in cost!

Today’s picture is of the Round Church in Cambridge.

Temperature today. Six degrees Celsius. Today we have had rain, snow, hail, some high winds and some lovely sunshine.

Today is Josephine's birthday, she would have been thirty.
