For the family

A variety of colours

Quilting group this morning in the neighbouring village. I was all prepared to go with the gear, but hadn’t slept well last night and was a bit “limp lettuce”.

B drove me down so as to unload the car. My sewing machine is not the lightest of items.

Once in, unpacked and organised, I got on with my Japanese fabric quilt. The two ladies at at the adjoining table were very friendly and we had a good old chat as we worked. One was a retired nurse, she started training in 1971, whereas I started in 1963, the same general era.

I survived the morning and stayed awake. We have a weekend course, all day Saturday and Sunday. I’ve booked for both, but will probably finish earlier.
