In the field

Today we went out in the field accompanying Finola who had been invited by Willie to look at an interesting stone. The interesting stone was in a magnificent situation somewhere on the shores of Inchydoney Island, assessible only when the tide was out. It was a long and slippery walk to the interesting stone which we all reluctantly thought was not probably that thrilling and although striated, the marks may have happened through fairly mundane circumstances- plough/cart/glacier! It was a wonderful, if cold, walk and great to meet Willie.
We enjoyed a late lunch of hearty and warming soup in Dunmore House
