Rio Grande

On a grand and windy day, the rio flows...  The local newspaper today said the river might be dry by June!  We are in a major draught...that's not unusual for a desert climate.  Still, we are well below normal for this year, and we were already in a deficit from last year.  The storms, the rain California receives dry out by the time they reach us, or they head north into Colorado.  When you watch radar on the weather channel, you can see the moisture dissipating as it passes from Arizona into New Mexico.
