Rainy EB

I was up earlier than usual, so it was nice to have a slower pre school morning with Asha and Nate.
Nate and I walked to school in the rain, not too torrential thankfully!
I had Nathalie and Alanna over for the morning. I'm loving growing friendship with these women. Nathalie has just accepted to become an 'elder' in the church, so it was a time for her to share expectations etc... She also came armed with excellent pastries, so I think we've got a good one, ha!
Nate and I caught the bus home, the timings don't work to get it to school, but they do for the way home. He was happy not to walk, he came out of school feeling a bit shaken after one of his friends had quite a nasty and bloody accident. She was whisked off to A&E and their teacher got everyone making her cards.
Asha went off to Charlie's to have their online art class together and then for a sleepover. So it's been just Nate and me. Playing cars and paper airplanes, and then a Readathon and sleepover in my bed. I'm feeling quite grotty with a heavy cold, so I'll be going to bed at the same time as Nate!

I've not heard much from Danny today, it's the actual wedding... Looking forward to seeing pics in the days to come!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Nate reading The Famous Five out loud to me.
2) The morning with Nathalie and then later Alanna when she joined us.
3) A quick call with Danny before the wedding began.
