The product, infrastructure and service did/will not improve, the workers' salaries won't increase and we do not have a choice to go somewhere else. The only change will be in the balance of some fat cat's bank account.

We are not on mains sewerage; we have to empty the cess pit at our costs at least once a year. We cannot go on a meter, because we an the neighbours share a pipe. A few years ago when a pipe was damage when a field was ploughed, Anglian Water said it wasn't their problem as the pipe was on private land and we had to wait for the farmer to fix it 2 days later.
