Mid March garden.
The Feast Day of Saint Clement Hofbauer. From 1783 he was accepted as a Redemptorist priest. Before that, he lived as a hermit.
Our Saturday here in Rishton Blackburn started with a frost on some roofs and our garden lawn. It was 3c but felt like 1c, with sun and beautiful blue sky, before it clouded a little. Nonetheless, it is a wonderful Spring day.
I have spent some time on washing and drying. Praying too.
I shifted several big pieces of turf and Paul also moved several big pieces of turf, to the place they used to be in the garden near the right side fence.
I cleaned out some window boxes and removed the craggy soil in order to replant some crocuses.
I did some weeding and tidying in the garden. Holly and Hunter were happy to be playing in the sunshine. Hunter even climbed up onto the conservatory roof.
I sowed Calendula seeds in wooden barrels, either side of the arch and also some Corncrackle seeds, collected from the flowers we grew last year.
A busy, happy morning. I went out for our Saturday Mail and to Lynn's with Gardening News.
I hope you are enjoying good weather and a pleasant Saturday.
Thank you for visiting my site today, blip friends.
